White Lady

The White Lady was invented between 1919-1930 by either Harry MacElhone or Harry Craddock in London, England. Like all great cocktails, there is bound to be some controversy. This recipe is for the traditional version but you can add an egg white if you are feeling adventurous.

 

  • 1oz Cointreau
  • 1oz Lemon juice
  • 1.5oz Gin

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice cubes, shake thoroughly, then pour into a martini glass.
